I qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa and after working in both South Africa and the United Kingdom I set my sights on the beautiful northern beaches of Sydney, Australia.

In the 10 years I have been practicing I have developed my skills across a broad spectrum of physiotherapy. I spent my initial years working in the public hospital system then I followed a passion to work with children as a paediatric physiotherapist at The Cerebral Palsy Alliance.  In 2005 I began to delve into the world of private practice and sports injuries and in 2007 decided to focus my energies in this area that I found so challenging and so fulfilling.

I  believe in continually improving my skill and service to clients and have done varied post-graduate training courses, including the McKenzie Technique, Muscle Energy Techniques, Cervicogenic Headaches, Pilates, Dry Needling and Vestibular Rehabilitation for Vertigo. I have incorporated the skills I learned in my previous roles and continue to work with children and teenagers in this new setting.

On a personal note, I am a very active individual myself, enjoying a variety of sports and activities, including bikram yoga, wake boarding, snowboarding and dancing.

I believe movement and exercise is paramount to health and happiness and encourage this in my practice.

My ultimate goal with any treatment is  to empower my clients through education, facilitation and strengthening, so that they may take control of their symptoms and self manage to prevent injury reoccurrence and to maintain optimal physical health.
